Everyone plays one card, and a fixed rule decides which card takes the whole pile, the trick. Following suit when you can, and the trump suit, form its basic grammar. One of the oldest mechanics, from the tradition of playing cards, and it never dries up. In this catalogue it appears in variations: the cooperative version in The Crew, and the open-hand version in GEAR.
