A reimagining of the 1998 game Samurai for a modern audience. The theme moves from samurai influence to claiming spots for flower viewing. You place picnic tiles around park activities — cherry blossoms, rice balls, lanterns. When an activity is fully surrounded, the player with the highest number there takes its token. Collecting the most tokens of a kind earns the matching victory point token. The board is double-sided. The NIPPON side uses the classic Samurai rules. The TOKYO side uses new rules with ability cards and new tiles. The tiles are vividly colored and light up the table.
